Electrical Infrastructure Construction

The Electrical Infrastructure Construction qualification will enable a learner to deal with:

Work as an electrician at a power plant
Work as an electrical technician at a telecommunications company
Work at a recording studio as an electrical engineering

Admission Requirements

  • A Pre Vocational Learning Programme (PLP)certificate with 50% pass in English and Life Orientation and a 40% pass in Mathematics and Foundational Science; or
  • Grade 9 statement with a 50% pass in English FAL; or a
  • Grade 10 or 11 statement with 405 pass in Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy and Accounting for Finance, Economics and Accounting or
  • AET L4 (GETC) with a 50% pass in English FAL; or a
  • Equivalent Occupational Qualification; or an
  • APS Score of 22, using the best six (6) Grade 9 plus English; or an
  • APS Score of 20, using the best six (6) Grade 10 plus  English; or an
  • APS Score of 18, using the best six (6) Grade 11 subjects plus  English and/ or Accounting
  • An NQF Level one qualification or an approved bridging programme designed for.
