Grade 09 or NQF Level 1 Qualification or higher

The Information Technology qualification will enable a learner to:

Operate in a computer programming environment.
Test programmes and software applications.
Install network cables for computer systems.
Process computer data.
Develop, research and document computer user requirements.

Admission Requirements

A Pre Vocational Learning Programme (PLP)certificate with 50% pass in English and Life Orientation and a 40% pass in Mathematics and Foundational Science; or
A Grade 9 statement with a 40% pass in Mathematics and English FAL; or a
Equivalent Occupational Programme; or an
RLP Assessment Programme; or an
APS Score of 22, using the best six (6) Grade 9 subjects inclusive of Mathematics/ Technical Mathematics and English; or an
APS Score of 20, using the best six (6) Grade 10 subjects inclusive of Mathematics/ Technical Mathematics and English; or an
APS Score of 18, using the best six (6) Grade 11 subjects inclusive of Mathematics/ Technical Mathematics and English; or an
An NQF Level one qualification or an approved bridging programme designed for
