The Hospitality qualification will enable a learner to deal with:
Managing a guest house.
Client services in an accommodation facility.
Working as an assistant cook/chef.
Working as a waitron.
Working as a housekeeper in a hotel or guest house.
Admission Requirements
A Pre Vocational Learning Programme (PLP)certificate with 50% pass in English and Life Orientation and a 40% pass in Mathematics and Foundational Science; or
Grade 9 statement with a 50% pass in English FAL; or a
Grade 10 or 11 statement with 405 pass in Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy and Accounting for Finance, Economics and Accounting or
AET L4 (GETC) with a 50% pass in English FAL; or a
Equivalent Occupational Qualification; or an
APS Score of 22, using the best six (6) Grade 9 plus English; or an
APS Score of 20, using the best six (6) Grade 10 plus English; or an
APS Score of 18, using the best six (6) Grade 11 subjects plus English and/ or Accounting
An NQF Level one qualification or an approved bridging programme designed for.
